DS 16-Surname too long

Sir,
Regarding filling of Surname.My surname as per Pass port , is too long and cannot be filled in the given no of fields on the DS160 form.After filling all fields,last 3 letters could not be filled and surname is incomplete.
Will this be accepted? I have not yet submitted The form.what is the way? I am worried this way.
Pl guide.Thanks
