Form DS 160 clarification

1. I am applying for visa renewal under visa interview waiver program as I am eligible for as per VFS checklist. I retired in 1996 and I have enough funds to take care of my travel,stay etc
2.I have started applying online in DS 160.
I need some clarification
Under ' present work/ education', I have entered RETIRED.no further questions afterwards.
Under 'previous work', NOTE:'work info for last 5 years,if applicable' is mentioned.
Were you previously employed: YES. NO
For past 5 years I am not working as I am retired since 1996.
So,should I select NO ?[
Or ,should I select YES and give particulars of my last job before retirement in 1996?
Kindly clarify

If you are not employed in the last 5 years, you don't enter your pre-1996 information in it.
