My wife and daughter have applied for visa (visitor's Visa) to attend our niece's graduation.Since, i am not travelling and most of the papers/ documents are on my name, Do i need to submit a legal affadavit or a simple application would do? And if an application is good enough , what should be the content in the application?By the way , my daughter is a minor. Thanks in advance.

Your post is not very clear.
If you are asking regarding consent for your minor daughter, the embassy requirement is that both parents be present at the interview for her visa.( even if not travelling). There is also an option to send a no objection letter with one parent if the other parent cannot attend the interview. So you can send a No objection letter on your letterhead with your wife if you do not want to attend the interview.
