Any answers will be appreciated!! I am Perm Res. and want my mom to visit

(1) If she want to interview in Hindi, when and where does that request have to be made. Are there pros and cons to interviewing in your native language. She can get by in English but is really more comfortable in Hindi.
(2) We just had a baby - also mentioned on 1-134 as a dependent x months old. Will that be a problem? She is really coming for tourism and to see her grandchild and not really to help us as such. We are planning to send the baby to daycare. But whats a good answer to a question why do you want to visit USA?
(3) Has anybody you know ever been asked for original BC? I have notarized copy that i am going to send.
(4) How much money do i need to show in savings?
(5) In her DS-156 she said that she is sponsoring herself (she is a housewife). Essentially my dad is paying for her trip. Does she need to show her own bank account or my dad's savings? Also i am sending her an I-134 just in care they want additional sponsorship documents
(6) My dad is also coming with her but he already has a 10 year visa. Does she need to carry a copy of his visa?

I have been in the us for over 15 years and this is the first time she is even applying for a us visa. Any additional tips will be appreciated.

2. Tourist visa is for tourism purpose. Therefore, please focus on that.
3. Yes. Lot of people.
4. No specific rule. But $5000 should be enough.
