For Visitor Visa - Bank statement or Bank account verification letter

I am sponsoring my in-laws for US visit on tourist visa. I am confused about how to show my financial status in US for the visa interview.

For visa interview, Is bank statement of last 6 months is enough or do I need to get an bank account verififcation letter from my bank to show my financial status or both ?

Please clarify.

Either is fine. Those are to be produced only if asked for. It is highly likely that they will be questioned about their own circumstances such as ties to home country more than your ability to pay for their trip.
