Need Advice

I am planning on visiting my parents soon. Now if my parents apply for visa end of the year(Nov/Dec), will it be Ok? I am concerned if my recent visit will jeopardize their chance. Recently Parents had their visa refused.

Any opinions?

That should not be a problem since they will have to apply for a 'tourist' visa, and as we all know a tourist visa is basically for tourism

That is what I thought so. They are visiting as tourists. But then I read in many replies that they ask when did your son/daughter last visit.
My concern was atleast if I do not give them any chance to reject may be probability will be higher.

In the end it is all luck. Whatever I do may not matter. But let me debate some more before I make decision to go or not.

My friend's wife was in a similar situation. She visited India last Nov and has invited her parents in June this year (they got their visa end of May and coming this weekend). Her parents were asked this question and they said they are going to US for tourism. That din't prevent from getting their VISA in Chennai

ala, if it helps you to know, I visited my parents last in Nov '04 and then they got their visa's in Apr '05 i.e. after a gap 5 months.
