B2 - Visa Process

Hello All,

I am going to apply for toursit visa (b2) , to meet my friend in Los Angeles. So do i have to show my financial records to the officer ? . i read couple of forums and its not mentioning anything but some of them do. I am confused now what should i do now . I will be staying with my friend over there , so do he needs to send the sponsor me for that..

Please help me on this..

They look at your situation at home first. If you are young, single and not settled in a well paying job , they will think you won't return and so SORRY.

Anyway, going all the way to US to "meet a friend ' on his sponsorship will just make the officer
surely think you won't come back.
