Sponsor Returned to India

Hi,

My parents got their US Visitor Visa 1 year back and is valid for 10 years. During the Visa Application Process, we kept my brother as their Sponsor. Due to some personal reasons, my parents were not able to come to US at the expected time.

Now, my brother's L1 Visa expired and he returned to India. Will there be a problem if my parents visit to US now ? I have H1-B Visa and I still work in US. In DS 160 we had mentioned, me and my brother live in US. Will that do ?

Any advice will be realy helpful. Thank you in Advance.

No problems at all.
The initial situation ( sponsor etc) at the interview cannot remain the same over 10 years of visa
validity. Everyone knows that.

So, they can freely come to US even if your bro has gone back.
Even if you were not there , they could still come as tourists staying in hotels etc.

They will be asked 2 qs at entry; purpose and duration.
Answer should be ; visiting son for 2 or 3 months.
Must keep your phone no. and address handy and they must know basics about
you , like your visa status and your employer.

But at the port of entry, as they should answer that they are visiting their son, who is no more in US, still can they give their daughter's phone number and address?

Just tell the truth: If son is no longer in the U.S., they can't possibly be visiting him.

If visiting daughter, say that. If tourism, say that.
