hi ,
i m new to this forum,well i m doing my usmle and i want to take up my step 2 cs in US ,how many months prior should i apply for visa , and if they grant me a 3 months visa for example for may,june and july , is that i have to be there in may itself or can i go in june or july ?

You can visit USA any time before your visa stamp expires. Duration of your stay is determined by the date in I-94, stamped by an officer at port of entry.
