Mom and Dad's place of birth wrong in passport!

Just found out that place of birth in my parents passports are written wrongly. The passport was issued in 2005. My parents did not notice the error until recently. We are planning for a B2 visa for them to USA. In my birth certificate (affidavit from lawyer), they declared their actual place of birth. Would this create problem for their visa? Any idea or experience?

I appreciate any valuable information.
