Multiple Entry Rule

Hello:
For my parents visit to USA (Visitor VISA), is there a rule regarding gap between two entries into the country. Meaning since their first visit to USA, should there be a stipulated gap of let's say 6 months before they can come back for a second visit?

There is no such written rule but if someone tries to spend most of his time in USA, he is violating the purpose of the visa (tourist), and may be denied entry at port of entry.
