    Hi,
    Iam already in USA on B1 since 3 months.my wife& Kid atteneded Visitor VISA (B1/B2) Interview on 31st 12.00PM at Chennai , lady cosular officer asked following questions to my wife.

    where are you going

    How long is your stay
    Ans: 3 weeks

    When did your husbad went to US
    4 weeks back

    (officer asked my wife my VISA &Passport copy and checked with other official and came back after 30 mins) Asked tell me exact month
    Ans: March

    When is he expected
    Ans: He will come back along with us after 3 weeks

    What is doing there
    Ans: To Attend Business meetings and visiting User business Locations
    Consulor replied so he is attending meetings since 3 months, and said we cannot issue VISA and gave paper which mentioned about section 214b Immigration act.

    Please help me in clarifying my below questions

    1.Will it effect my VISA ?, as i will be leaving USA after 3 months(Total stay 6 months)

    2. Does it effect my spouse & kid if they go again for any other VISA category like L2/H4.

    3. Can we go again for VISA Interview if so when can we and what we need to prove to convey we will come back in 3 weeks.

    Please help us to clarify

    1.It will affect your future visa applications.
    These days they are concerned about companies misusing B1/B2.( Employees working on B1)
    Anyone staying too long on B1 , they are suspicious about that misuse.

    2..If you are granted an L1 or an H-1, this denial won't affect their L-4/H-4.
    But your staying 6 months on a B1 can affect your future L1.

    3. No use.
