Hi All,
My mom has an interview on 28th June for her visitor Visa. She has visited here beofre in 2001 and went back in 5 months.
I have send the following documents for her :-
Affidavit of Support
Application form D-156
H1 approval notice + H1 petition
Employment Verification
Pay Checks (last 6 )
Bank Statement
Tax Returns + W2 form for last 3 yrs
Proof of residence - My apt lease
Letter for Port of Entry Officer
Did I have to send any other document. I am worried for the following reasons :-
1: We booked an appointment but forgot to mention that she needs an interview in Hindi only --- Can this be changed now ? her app is on 28th June.
2: My mom is a widow, my elder sister is married and my mom also retired last year. She has a house. I am not sure how do I best proof her ties to India.
3: Can anyone give me the list of documents she should collect for the interview ?
4: My mom lives in Pune - Does anyone know of any consulting offices where she can go to prepare her case well.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks a lot,
Seema.
