10-year visa expiring-need next steps for renewal

Hello:
My mother has a 10-year multiple visa which is expiring this month. I would like to renew it.
She is 70+ and I do not want her to go through the interview process if it can be avoided.
Can some one who went through the same process post your experiences? TIA

They have a new interview waiver program implemented this year.
She won't have to go for the interview. Only to give fingerprints if she is approved.

I was told the whole process, filling up the application, submitting, and arranging accommodations for the interview (hotel etc) and even helping in attending the interview are carried out by some "authorized" agents. Has anyone used such services?
If such services are available I would like to use so that I can lessen the trouble to my friends and relatives in this process. Please let me know.

VFS is the agent authorized by the embassy.
Everyone has to go through them.
