Mother Visa - Before travelling to US on L1

Hi All,

I have a L1 visa stamped.

We are small family me- my wife and mother.

My wife is ready for L2 interview. I need to get B2 for my mom so that she can come along with me as theirs no one in India to be with her. Shes perfectly fit and healthy but cant leave her alone for a year.

I need to get her B2 done?

Shes retired and has pension , has couple of homes and jwellery .

Should i apply for B2 visa for her as self sponsoered.

I am unable to get CA letter in my current city and theirs little time to travel to home town to get the CA letter, is it ok if i do this calculation my self and show actual documents to VO.

Does consulate understand the fact parents (mother) need to be along with me , although shes not financially dependent she is emotionally dependednt so they understand this fact ?


What should i do , apply for B2 as self sponsored?
Search for a sponsor ?
Can i apply for her B2 being in India ?

For self funding , she needs at least 10 L/ yr income or large savings 15L +.

most important is ties ;

they won't care about the emotional thing, they do not care if she will be left alone.

They have to go by the law which says any body with no ties is a potential immigrant
so won't be given a visitor visa.

She has properties though .

He is not the same person. This just a co-incidence that his name is also Manish and situation is also same.

Now a days I am reading most of the post to get a best possibility for my mother.

Did your mom get the visit before u travelled to US.if yes kindly guide me, i m in the same situation now.
