i have 2 questions

I want to know if somebody is in usa on b1/b2 visa is it possible for him to jump in h1b visa if his h1b case approved while he is in usa then for stamping he needs to leave usa or he has to go india for h1b visa stamping. or possible for him to stay in usa on h1b approvel

second if somebody living in usa on l1 visa and after one year he will get exextion then for stamping he needs to leave usa or he has to go home land for stamping is b1/b2 visa holder jump in l1 visa

change of status from b1/b2 to L1 or h1b is possible but that change of status is only on your
I-94 card. As long as your are inside US , that changed status on the I-94 card will work very well.


But if you have to go outside US, you will have to surrender that I-94 at departure .
And to reenter you will have to get a stamp at the US embassy in canada, mexico or home country ( your choice)
showing approved petition for H1, L1 or L1 extension as the case may be.
