Is there a maximum limit on number of people sponsoring for tourist visa [In case of self sponsor]? For example: If a family of 6 (GrandFather,GrandMother,Son,daughter-in-law,2 grand kids) are travelling can GrandFather + Son + Daughter-In-Law sponsor tourist visa together instead of just 1 person?
Grandfather is retired and other 2 sponsorer's are working. How strong can this case be, since grandfather is retired?
Also how do we specify this on DS-160 form?

If you will show self funding, they will ask the income of the person paying.
Retired Grandpa won't qualify to fund the trip.
If son and d-in-law are working and earning very well , they can show self funding
for everyone. But caution; for this their combined income should be more than 15 lacs/yr
If not, do not risk it . let the host send funding papers.
Also, ties are more important than funding. If all of you are going, you are leaving no family ties behind, that could be a problem in getting the visa.
