  • B2- Visiting 2nd time in this year.

    Hi,
    I have the following situation.

My parents got B2 visa (multiple entry) for one year in September 2011. But they visited USA this year for three months (till June 12).
Now they would like to visit again in July/August 2012. Will this be a problem to visit 2nd time in the same year? If not, how long can they stay? This time i want them to stay for 6 months?
or Is it better to attend visa interview again? Is it okay to attend visa interview before visa expires (Sep 12)?

    Any advice is appreciated.

    Thanks!

If they wish to apply for a new visa after the expiry of this one, it is very important that they do not abuse the current visa.
If they travel again the way they are planning, they will certainly be denied the new application.

I strongly suggest they should not plan another visit on this visa.
Apply for a new one after september showing travel in early 2013.
The good news is they won't have to appear for an interview.

      Thanks for the responses!

Is it true that they don't need to attend interview?

Yes, it is true. If they will apply for B1/B2 at the same consulate as before .
And within 4 years of expiry of the current one.

THis is the new INTERVIE WAIVER PROGRAM implemented this year.

They can call you for interview later if they need some more answers or documents.
