Visa Rejected today

Hi all...

My parents attended for visa today and got rejected.

They asked these questions?

Why do you want to visit USA?
Who is sponsoring your trip?
What are you doing?
In which company does your daughter works?
ZZZ

He said that there is no such company in USA.
we showed employement letter, salary copies and W2 forms, tax returns.

Did any one had such experiences before?
They gave 214(b) after that.

How is this related like my documents and 214(b)?

If anyone has these experiences before please post your responses.

Same here

My mother visa got rejected today as my company name(self employed) not found in consulate database.They took finger prints of my mother and told that they would give 6 months visa.But when consular officer searched for my company name, it was not found in their database.

Totally frustated.......

I booked apptmt for my mother in the month of november.

that sounds strange!
did you work for a Client or for a direct company?
I was wondering if you work for a client and if your parents told client name and not the employer who holds your visa,that may be cause for the rejection?
doesn't make any sense to me...there is no way they can go online database to check millions of companies in US within 5 minutes..many companies may have comeup yesterday as new ones and there is no way they can keep track of all companies in US in their database...
just a thought...?
