I live in Australia as PR with my family, having Canada PR and also B1/B2 given for 10 years.
Now I am moving to Canada to work, my wife and daughter needs Canada PR to accompany me, it might take 4 months. My wife prefer to stay in US with her brother (H1B, living there for lat 3 years) until she get her Canada PR, she was given B1/B2 visa 10 years M entry.
In 3 weeks time, we all travelling together from Singapore to New York.
Is it good to ask my wife to clear immigration before me so that she will not be questioned in relation to my Canada trip?
Tough we have mentioned 1 month stay in DS-160, is it safe to ask for 6 months stay at POE? She might stay for 4 months but I feel it is good to get 6 months on I-94.
Is till to book her return ticket, I will do it once I get clear idea.I request Peace and other senior members to help me on this
