Hi,
I would like to apply for B2 visa to my parents and in-laws. The reason why I am inviting all of them is that, we were blessed with a baby couple of months back and we could not go to India due to some work commitments. Though my wife does not work, she is not willing to go with out me. But, my parents and in-laws are dying to see their grand child and would like to visit us for couple of weeks atleast. We applied for my mother-in-law's B2 visa twice around 2 to 4 months back and she was denied for unkown reasons. The same thing happened with my parents twice. But we have not tried for my father-in-law as he could not get leave from his job. He works for govt. Now, some how, he got one month vacation. We would like to send all of them together on a single appointment as my father-in-law is educated and can answer questions properly.
We are in a situation where we can not visit India for atleast another 6 months and they could not wait that long to see their grand child.
So, I have few questions here,
1) Is it a good idea to send all of them together on a single appointment? Three out of four have been rejected twice in last six months? Does it indicate any desperacy?
2) Can they mention (to VO at interview) about my new born child and their wish to see their grant child? I heard that the VO might think they are going for baby sitting. But, my wife is at home as she does not work, so we don't need a baby sitter. Ofcourse, they will be helpful, but we are not desperate for a baby sitter.
3) If they mention about my child, do we need to produce any proof like birth certificate?
4) Does self sponsoring help? or If I have to sponsor all of them, How much bank balance i need?
Any help on this greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.
