Very less time for visa application...

Hi,

I live in Delhi and going to attend some Business meetings in Canada. It will be my second tour to Canada and I have two years multi entry-visitor visa for Canada now. A couple of my friends in US invited me to visit them. I have a couple of invitation letters. My flight is scheduled on 20th of July so time is running out. I have already taken the appointment by webste but it is in the month of October. It is my first tour to USA. My questions are -

How can I get the US Visitor Visa in such short duration?
Can I apply for US Visitor Visa by courier or direct to US Embassy?
Can I apply for US Visitor Visa while I am in Canada?

Please suggest me the best step should I take. Hope to hear quick suggestions.

You will have to apply from India in person. There is no other option, unfortunately.
