Are handicapped people over 65 years old required to attend US visitor visa interview in person ? Is it mandatory to go the interview in person ?
Just a little background.
My parent is a elderly widow who is wheel chair bound and uses walker for her basic activities. I am a Green Card Holder and the only son with others being daughters. My parent gets pension. She does not have any property of her own. I will be sponsoring the visit. I just want her to visit US for whatever is the maximum period allowed.
What are the difficulties in such a situation ?? Is it possible that the visa will be rejected ??
Appreciate any inputs.
