Hi,
My father in law is here in USA with 10 years multiple entry visitor visa. We are planning to file an extention for him about 45 days before his I-94 expire. So the dilema is when we file for visa extension and if it gets rejected before the valid I-94 date and he leave the USA accordingly, before the I-94 expiration date -- will he have problem with rest of the years left in his 10 years approved Visa? Does he need to go to the US counsulate in India again to get new Visa? Or he will be okay to renter in USA as he lilke later since he did not violate any immigration date rules? Please help ASAP.
