Dear all,

Is it ok if my invitation letter to my parents says that I will be sponsoring their expenses, although in DS 160 form, we mentioned that they will be paying for their expenses. Should I change the invitation letter saying they will pay. Also what should i mention in I 134 form for sponsoring expenses. Please reply soon.

How much income do parents need to show so that they can show they will sponsor their own stay?

Also is it ok that I submit my W2 for last year, or do i need to submit for last 2-3 yrs?

You need to consistently the same thing everywhere.

There is no minimum amount. They should be able to take care of their expenses for their U.S. trip. How much is that? That really depends upon how much they are going to spend. Count the cost of air tickets + visitors insurance + site seeing + other misc. expenses.

--> If you are sponsoring, then you have to send the signed affidavit of support. There should be separate affidavit of support for each of your parents. When i sponsored my parents, i did send out the originals.
