B2 Visa for in-laws, attending interview

Hello,

I could not find an answer to my question via the search feature. I am applying for B2 visas for my in-laws from Honduras. Would it be ok if I went to Honduras with them to their visa interview. In general, do US Consulates frown upon this or would I even be allowed to enter the interview?

I am thinking I could assist in presenting supporting documents and answer any questions they might have. Basically I could use myself as a little additional evidence for their application.
