Please help - Visa expired - i94 Valid

Hi

My L1 Blanket Visa is expired but i94 is valid till 2014. I like to sponsore my Parents.

However, my petition is expired and I cannot apply with a new petition until only 6 months before my i94 Expiry date

I have booked the Visa Interview with US Embassy and in the list of documents it says, if the visa is expired, Renewed Petition should be brought.

Could you please tell me how can I get the renewed petition now ? I am stuck

Valid i94 dictates that the stay in US is legal. Does this mean I do not have to show a renewed petition.

I can show them old petition/Approval Notice (I-797)

Any thoughts from anyone would really help

Your parents can apply for their Visa. They can provide copy of I-94 as proof of your legal status. (It needs to be provided only if asked for, most probably they will not be asked for it). They need to prepare evidence of their ties to home country. Your status is less important in their application.
