DS 160 Clarifications

Hi All,

I came in USA in June this year on L1-Blanket, my duration of stay in USA is 6 months. My wife came in USA one month after I came.

Now I am planning to apply for my mother’s B2 VISA(I am sponsoring her VISA) but have some queries in my mind. She is a widow, housewife but getting 10K/month pension.

1. In I-134 form question 7, can I show my India property after converting the approximate value in USD?

2. She has a flat in on her name(registered 5 years ago) but 2.5 years ago we have changed my mothers name. Passport, Pan card all are on new name but the property papers are still on old name. What needs to be done during VISA interview?

3. Do I need to get Form16 for her also (as she is getting pension)? We never paid tax for her and don’t have Form-16 currently as she is a pension holder with near 1.2L annually.

I would really appreciate your reply to my question as it would be very helpful to me. Any additional information/suggestions are most welcome.

You guys helped me in getting my visa now please help me for my mothers visa.
