Tourist in Need for End Date on Passport Stamp

Hi,
My situation is pretty straightforward : i came in to the US at the end of July as a tourist on the traditional VWP using ESTA (new electronic version of I94W).
The problem is that the CBP officer at the airport didnt stamp my END date (which is basically 90 days after the entry date) although an ENTRY date WAS indeed stamped on the passport.

What do you recommend I should do to get the END date stamped either on the passport or on some kind of document ?

I already scheduled for an appointment at USCIS but its not until Sept 12th : im looking for alternative ideas...

Many Thanks... but what im trying to figure out is really the process to get stamped the end date on my passport.
