Should we travel immiditely after getting B2 visa

I am planning to apply for my parents B2 visa .
Their travel plan to US is not finalized yet.
Should they travel immidielty after getting visa ?

They can travel at any time as long as the Visa remains valid on the day they travel to US.
They will of course need to give their best estimate of travel date and duration on their application (DS-160).
