Visitor visa approved , any documents required for immigration

Dear administrator,

1) Both our parents visa has been approved , but my mom would be traveling first to us and then my dad would join after 2 months, will it be a problem if my parents come in different intervals to us (for visa interview , my parents were interviewed in the same slot)

2) is there any documentation required in the immigration in India and US? If a query is raised about my dad , can we just say that dad would travel to us later.
