The embassy did not keep the HDFC slip

Had my B2 visa interview today at New Delhi..

At the end the counsellor said your visa is approved and kept my passport and the visa appointment letter with him.

However, when I reached home I realised that I still held both the HDFC receipts (Blue and Pink).

Now wondering if this means a delay? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

That should not have happened. Contact VFS immediately.
