can i add new passport in existiong appointment

Hi There,
I took an appointment in march with my mom passport no. At that time my dad didn't get his passport. My mom got an appointment on 19 th sept. Is it possible to add dad passport no in the appointment or can he go to the interview directly(now he got his passport no). How to overcome this situation.
