Pls Help - question about parents visa

I will be taking an appointment to my parents this year Dec. I am waiting for their passports (granted but not yet received) My father is a govt.employee. I had two elder brothers. My elder brother (my second) had died in a road accident in 2001. My first brother lives in India with the family. If they ask how many children my parents have, If they say they had 3 kids but some tragedy happened in 2001, Is there a possibility they would ask any death certificates (proof). I badly need my parents in USA by 2006 January. I am confused how should we proceed.....

I am assuming that your parents
will apply for a visitor visa.

Your brother's demise papers are not relevant here and are not
required. Your parents should focus more on proving ties to
home country (that they will come back).
And that their stay is properly funded.
