cancel visa appointment within 2 days of the inteview?

I have to cancel visitor visa appointment for my brother by today...he cannot attend the interview on july 12th, due to his job urgent situation.i tried online and it says appointment cannnot be cancelled after 2 pm IST if it is less than 2 days...
what are the other options to cancel?
if he didn't attend the interview,will it get cancel automatically?or I already sent email to ttsvisas regarding this...will they can cancel the appointment?
any one faced issues like this before?
