Visa Rejected, Need info around next appointment

Hi,

My parents visa just got rejected. I would like to know when they can re-apply for their next visit? Earlier, we used to have drop-boxes but now, they have this web based appointment system. My questions are:

1. How long should they wait to get another appointment?
2. How do they get next appointment date? ( Do we have to go thru all the web appointment stuff again?)

Examine the reason for refusal that the consular gave them and
let them try to overcome that in their reapp. Most common reasons are
not able to prove ties to home country and insufficient funds.Let them not rush into it.(wait say 6 months).
In theory they can reapply 3 business days later but reapps are refused
if there is nothing much different.

I think they'l have to go through the web appointment system again.

Thanks for your response. The reason they rejected was section 214B (potential immigrant).I called up the Bangalore Consulate office and found out that I need to go thru the http://www.ttsvisas.com to setup another appointment. Which means, another 4 or 5 months from now! :-(

I thought I can qickly get another appointment, but it is really of no use. They might even reject the second one as there may not be any major difference in the documentation. Your suggestion about waiting for approximately 6 months makes sense.
