Parents Visitor visa- B2 can we show balance in spouse bank account?

Hi,

I am sponsoring visitor visa for my in-laws. We have been maintaining bank balance in my wife's account. In my account bank balance is poor.

Can we show bank balance and average bank balance from my wife's account? we would like to do this, because average and bank balance is good in my wife's account.

Please help.
