  • Do you think I'll qualify for B2 visa? My interview is very soon and I have lots of q

    Hello everyone,

I applied for a visitor visa and my interview is next week. I am 23 yo male(single, but waiting for the girl I love to finish college so we can get engaged "in Palestine") from Palestine. I have all required documents ready such as, proof of a good job/salary, bank balance(5k), store owner documents, family pictures and everything else. I also have a sponser, which will send me all the required documents such as, bank statement, proof of citizenship, affidavit of support, employement letter etc. After reading posts on immihelp, I wish I was self-sponsered instead, but its too late to do that now because my application has been sent. My sponser owns a grocery store and I read that people should avoid getting affidavit of support from people with small businesses, especially grocery stores and gasstations. What do you advice me to do? Also, what forms require notary? What other documents shall I bring with me to the interview? I am afraid they'll reject me because of my young age. I have no relatives in the USA and I will not overstay, how do I prove this to the consulate? Also, do my sponser have to mail the documents to me or can he scan/fax them to me?

Please answer all my questions, I'm nervous.

    Thanks in advance

Your reasons seem unconvincing. The Visa Officer might say that Eid is to be celebrated with family why are you going away from family and celebrating it and he will be unconvinced with your answer. Had you done similar purpose trips to other countries too in the past the reason may seem genuine. There are various factors apart from the purpose, a lot depends upon your family ties as to who else is there in your home country, income/salary levels in home country, how long have you been in the job, the nature of job, travel history etc.If you have old parents to take care of , a very good salary in your home country (> 30,000 USD per year) and have done tourism to lot of other countries you have a slight chance.

Bachelor's at very young age are heavily scrutinized as they have a very strong potential of settling down in USA.

This is my opinion not legal advice.

I have 20 days off from work, therefore I'll be spending Eid there. So you think I should put tourism purposes and not mention Eid? Also, do you know which forums/letters require notary? And does the sponsor have to send me the original documents or can he just fax them to me?

          Thanks
