URGENT and IMPt: Issue with B2 Visitor Visa

Hi All,

I am planning to sponsor my parents B2 Visa and have sent all the required documents to them. They are planning to go for the interview some time mid of Oct 2012.
But, now my assignment is planned to end before schedule and i have to travel back to India (i am on H1b) for couple of months by Nov 1st 2012 and will be travelling back on an new assignment in Jan 2013. I am not sure if i would be returning to the same place and state.
Can I still go ahead and ask my parents to book an appointment at consulate for their Visa Interview? FYI, I already have my return tickets with me for Nov1st back to India.
