  • Travel to USA from port/place other than "issuing port"

    Hi guys,

I just got my L1 VISA from Brussels, Belgium. My query is regarding the travel. I am off my current project in Brussels, will go to India by 24th Jan and fly from India to USA by mid Feb. Can anybody advise, is it fine to travel from India to US when my VISA issuing port in Belgium.

    Many Thanks

It doesn't matter. The visa is used for ENTRY, and its authenticity and currency are all that matter when the airline allows you to board and when the Immigration guy looks you over at the U.S. port of entry.
