i wanted to share my experience and looking for answer of my question , i filled my Asylum petition in April ,2009 and i am still waiting for any kind of decision and its July,2015 , i told everything truth in my personal statement that the terrorist kidnapped me and the asked me ransom if ransom would not paid i and my son would have been killed by terrorist one of my son died in flight when i was traveling from my country to US , that flight stopped over in Manchester my wife and son admitted in the hospital for 3 days , i berried my son alone in graveyard , but Lawyers are telling me that you have given ransom to the terrorist that's why you are not going to get decision , but if in case you they decide to take decision you will get denial after waiting years and years, i don't know what to do how to know about it , my son is 15 years old next year he is going to go college he need driving license and CT state does not issue license to those who are asylee and their decision are pending , some time i feel like to kill myself .
