Hi i am traveling to dubai with my family on toursit visa from mumbai but my tourist said since you have ECR on your passport you need to have clearance however i saw on passport website if your traveling for employment purpose then only you need ECR CLEARANCE kindly help me with the above querry i am confused

No, you need not have ECR Clearance, that's only for sake of employment.
