I need to get a two day extension of my tourist visa. I booked my flights for 3 months instead of 90 days. I am currently in a remote area of Mexico but am flying to San Francisco where my sister lives to pick up my things and then flying out to Australia on the 10th. Is it possible to stay for 2 extra days?

Your post is confusing. You want to transit the US for 2 days, or 90? You can ask at immigration, but I highly doubt it. You ought to shorten your trip, OR apply for a visit visa (which might be hard since you're in a remote part of Mexico...). If you are indeed going only for a couple of days, it shouldn't be a problem with proof of onward travel.
