Change of Status help! (Tourist Visa to Temporary Worker)
i am someone who is intending to to stay in the U.S. for 12 months. my main reason for travel is to live with family friends that have previously lived with me. i will need to work whilst in the states, but do not have an employer as of yet.
i am looking to travel in the next 3 months and was wondering if anyone knows what would be my best option?
i was told that i could possibly travel to the states on a Visiting Visa and then change my status over to a working one once i have an employer willing to sponsor me. is this possible?
and what are then chances of it getting approved?
does anyone know of other avenues to take?
please help!
