planning to bring mother on B2- need advise

Hi,
I'm planning to bring my mother to US in Feb14. She has valid B2 visa valid till 2019. Below is her travel history.
Nov09-Feb10
Jul11-Dec11
Feb13-Jul13

With this travel history would she get a stay of 6 months if she travels this Feb? Also I'm planning to extend her stay(possibly during last 2 months of her stay) for another 4 months. Would this get approved? Would there be any challenges if she travels next time to US say in late 2015?

No one can predict as to how long would she be granted its upto the officer at the POE. There isnt a rule book but as long as it doesnt appear that the visitor visa is being misused and the person appears to be staying rather than visiting it should be fine. Frequent visits, long stays, and extension requests would eventually add up and will be difficult to get it renewed later on.
