Sponsor visitor visa on L2

Hi,
I want to sponsor my parents visitor visa. I am on L2 with Ead and working. Is it advisable to sponsor visa for my parents? Or should have my husband do it- he's on L1.

Also my parents have sufficient funds to sponsor their own trip but are retired so would it be ok if they self sponsor ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes, they can show self funding. In the form they will write retired and income column will be left blank and to the question who is funding, they will write self.
The officer can then ask them about their funds , they should be able to blurt out a good figure like 15-20L and must carry proof.
If there is any doubt or they do not have strong savings then let your husband sponsor.
