Visitor Visa extension for Parents - Urgent Help needed

Please help. My parents are in B2 visa in USA for last 5.8 months. Their i-94 is expiring on October 21st. I have applied for extension on 9th September and will not hear the result till December as per USCIS ETA.

I read that if they are in USA after i-94 expires and visa officer gives denial of extension then their 10 year multi entry visa will be cancelled. I don't want that to happen because to get 10 year multi entry visa - they were rejected 3 times before finally they gave us 1 year back.

Please advice. ( shall i have them leave US in next 2 days to avoid getting 10 year Multi entry visa getting cancelled)

your green card won't help.

About cancellation of their visa, if the denial of extension is received after their I-94 date, the law is not clear cut. So my advice to you
is to let them leave before oct 21st . Since they got their visa with such great difficulty.

They can come again with a gap of 4-5 months. In future , avoid applying for their extension. If you have to apply for an extension, do it 3-4 months before
their I-94 date.

Thanks for your reply. Just feel sad that they have to go right away. I have heard my friends whose parents stayed till even 11 months since they did not get reply on their visa extension request.
