Need Help on extension of I 94 - Critical situation

Hi,

I'm visiting USA on a B2 Visa and unfortunately am charged with an criminal case (misdemeanor/felony) . I have hired a criminal lawyer to represent my case, but in the mean while I am worried about my visa/I94 and Immigration angle for which I need help/suggestions .My I 94 expires on 12th May 2015 .

Can I extent my B1/B2 Visa?
when should I apply for the extension of I94 ?
Will I get an extension under this circumstance ?
For how long will I get an extension ??
Will this impact my future visits to USA ?
Procedure for extension of I 94 ?

I do not want to go out of status and want to complete all the formalities before I leave .
Please suggest .
