Hello, my grandparents have their tourist visas and they wanted to know how long they would have to be outside of the USA until they can come back in after their six months. They are visiting my grandpa's brother who has cancer so they want to be near him as long as possible but their visa expires in June so they would like to know how long they would have to be in Mexico until they can come back and start the six months again. Thank You.

There is no preset as per law. Generally it is good to spend more time in the home country than in the USA.
Since their visas expiring soon, alternatively they may extend their stay, instead of going back and come again. That way they can save money, time and efforts.
