Can someone guide me on what would be an acceptable reason for requesting a visa extension. My mother is has been diagnosed with diabetes & I am having her undergo treatment, as well as am planning on having her Arthritis check out as well. I am financially sound & would like to aplly for an extension for both on my parents for 4 more months.
Should I use her medical condition as a reason for the extension or will I be better off going with a more generic reason like "tourism" "spending more time with my family".
It is about 5 weeks from their I-94 to expire. Please advise on what additional documentation I need to provide in support of the extension.
